Welcome to
New England Eye

Our mission is to improve the visual health of populations through excellence in collaborative and community-oriented patient care, education and research.

Welcome to the New England Eye Institute website. New England Eye is a network of eye care centers and programs that reach out to the community with tailored programs for diverse populations. By operating as the teaching affiliate of the New England College of Optometry, and through its ongoing collaboration with area health professionals, New England Eye offers specialized services for the whole-person that begins by focusing on comprehensive eye care.

In pursuit of its mission, New England Eye aims to deliver excellent eye care for all people. The network features distinctive programs customized for special populations such as children, the elderly, the homeless, and individuals who are either physically or mentally challenged. New England Eye’s doctors provide eye care to a wide range of populations at 44 health care facilities located throughout Massachusetts. What is more, New England Eye continues to be an innovative leader in family-oriented eye care through the models of treatment it provides at its flagship New England Eye Commonwealth location.

By placing an emphasis on community oriented primary care, New England Eye is helping the New England College of Optometry train the next generation of optometric clinical providers and policy leaders in distinctive aspects of community and public health.
